The $2,000 — 24K Pizza at Industry Kitchen with Chef Bunay
When it comes to food and creations — NYC has some of the most unique. Including Pizza!
The one on my radar recently has been this $2,000 pizza at Industry Kitchen. Nestled along the East River next to the historic South Street Seaport, in Manhattan’s Financial District. So on a cold, beautiful, and clear night — Kenya Thomas, Krista Aventuna-Nerestant , myself and my hubby Jeff Fransen met near the water at Industry Kitchen. Starting off with a well earned tequila drink.
Ingredients included squid ink with gold flakes, Stilton cheese from England, foie gras, truffles, covered with gold foil, then topped with a few rare edible rose pedal, Ossetra caviar, and lots more gold flakes. You will need to order this 48 hours in advance.
Though Industry Kitchen is known for their modern American cuisine — based on seasonal market ingredients and simply yet flavorfully prepared dishes — their $2K pizza sure makes for an attraction.
