Women Power πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ‘ŠπŸ½πŸ‘ŠπŸΏ A Historic March

Today in New York β†’ Men, women, and children march for a cause as support around the world pours in.

I’m proud to be a woman! And as I watch all around the world people coming together — I see the expression of hope. Because justice for all means all, and together — united — we’re unstoppable.

What the Internet has to say about it ↓

Photographer Tutti del Monte writes on her Facebook wall:

Today was such an affirming day to be a woman with a voice. I was surrounded by thousands of people whose hearts are similar to mine in that we carry the same plea and promise for change. It was exhilarating to not only witness but also to be a part of NYC’s vociferous and action-focused community. It filled my heart with the hope I’d lost back in November. This is Day 1, friends, and I couldn’t be happier with today.

Sadaf Madina Doost writes on her Facebook wall while sharing this video from CNN ↓

I’ve been thinking about my high school friends in Arizona a lot who I grew up with and had conversations about racism, prejudice, and inequality on almost a daily basis because of the questions they would ask me about Islam and my hijab. And it was some of those same friends that voted for Trump and were proud of it. People say it’s politics and not to take it personally, but I did, and I will continue to do so.

So with pity, I dedicate this link to you – because I hope you open yours eyes, ears, and hearts, and because millions of strangers have been more supportive than you.

This is what it looks like when people from all over the world come together for women power! We rise together — never against each other. We are stronger than ever….
