Everything around me felt like I was walking in on a classic Hollywood movie set when I arrived– it was no surprise that I read how Hotel Elysée was once the playground for the rich and famous, movie stars, artists, writers, and intellectuals. It felt like they all left a piece of themselves behind, there’s so much to be inspired by. I really admired the antiques displayed around the establishment — everything seemed to have a beautiful story attached!
I enjoyed the romantic décor of all the furniture and layout of each room. Even though we were in midtown Manhattan and so close to the main streets, I almost felt like I was hidden in a romantic French oasis with the love of my life. J’adore ça!

My very favorite part of the entire stay was the room — where I got to relax and unwind from my month of travels ♡ and get some more work done at the desk ♡ this place inspired me. Our room was large — it was an ideal bedroom size and very generous for New York City — approximately 650-700 square feet, located on the front of the hotel. It had everything to make us feel comfortable — from the King sized bed to the living room with a sitting area, and a luxurious marble bathroom.
