Jack Doyle’s Bar & Restaurant: Your New Midtown Sports Bar

Hey Doost!

In light of MLB’s Opening week, I just discovered one of my favorite sports bars in midtown! Jack Doyle’s Bar & Restaurant is named after an 1800s Irish-American first baseman in Major League Baseball who was known for being a hustler. Located just one block away from Penn Station & Madison Square Garden, it is one of my favs to recommend for a good time with friends, drinks, and dining!

Over the weekend I had one of my best friends and toughest critics, Nadia Uvarova with Mari Ripoll, come to NYC to do some serious WtD homework for our Doosts.

Nadia and Mari
From their famous “Captain Crunch” shots to their red velvet cake — and everything in between — it was a blast!

 Nadia’s thoughts on Jack Doyle’s:
Great presentation, awesome service, nice atmosphere!

I highly recommend the French onion soup, mozzarella caprese, and our favorite pick for appetizer — the crab cakes.

My favorite drink was their version of the Moscow Mule, which was made with fig infused vodka. Their entree selections include options for both vegetarians and carnivores. Their salmon dish was one of our favorites, with impeccable mustard dressing. You can see their full menu here!

I’m a sucker for the right burger and fries combo with ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce and the ladies enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious and spicy!

You can find this place in the center of Manhattan, just steps away from some of New York’s famous attractions such as the Empire State Building, Macy’s, and Times Square plus many more.
