The Beginner’s Guide to Trying New Thai Food at Pok Pok || Brooklyn, NY

Pok Pok is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in my home turf, Brooklyn. It’s somewhat of a trek from the nearest subway stop, but it’s definitely worth the hike.

The menu can sometimes be a little overwhelming, so I’ve made a video for you to make the most of your experience!

My personal recommendations: Definitely try the kaeng hang leh and the khao soi. Anyone with a sweet tooth and/or coffee addiction should definitely try the Pok Pok Affogato for dessert. Also, remember that Pok Pok is a Brooklyn hot spot (and they don’t take reservations), so show up early or be prepared for a wait.

And in case you missed it, check out my post on Pok Pok’s dessert made with durians (a fruit that’s illegal to eat in public in some countries because of its smell)!

Pok Pok is located at 117 Columbia Street, Brooklyn 11231.
There is another location in the Lower East Side in Manhattan. The original Pok Pok is in Portland, Oregon.
