February 5th is the day that we celebrate one of the greatest advantages in education that the internet allows us.  Free college courses offered online by some of the best colleges and universities in the country and the world.  While these courses generally do not count as college credits, these are trustworthy places to learn valuable information.

The cost of college has risen sharply in recent years and the average cost of a public university for out of state residents is over $22,000 per year according to www.collegedata.com.  According to MIT’s own website, the estimated cost of attending for one year is over $59,000.  You can get much of the benefit for FREE!
