A Motivational Talk Over Good Food and the Perfect Ambience at Black Barn
I believe everything should be done with purpose.
Whether it’s during down, up, or in-between times β we all need every single moment of its existence. As cheerful as I am — I too need days to disconnect. Whereas once I felt guilty about waisting my day(s) away. Now I know they’re necessary, it’s called rest. So once every 2-3 weeks I take my breaks with JOY!Β So my advice isΒ β embrace all your moments because they need to happen and you need them to grow!
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.

Every angle of our lives matter. So when it comes to spending quality time with peopleΒ β I’ve grown very choosy. And the gratification I get from this is worth it. I am inspired, motivated, and constantly growing because of the uplifting people in my life. What’s even better is when we come together. So in light of that, I stopped by one of my favorite restaurants on planet earth (yes, seriously) — Black Barn in NYC’s NoMad district — with my friend Gigi Des Sources and Jonathan E. Carvajal.
Over delicious food in an upscale barn-like environment — we let loose. By that I mean, we talked about the good, the bad, and how to be our best versions through it all. We discussed our pains, joys, and how beautiful they both are.
Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better and your better is best.

We’re all good at many things in life — the trick is to find the one thing we’re great at and fully pursue it!
Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.
