And have you indulging more in quality time. Hence, less time in the kitchen.

Don’t you worry I have got you covered and the recipes are 100% parent approved. Especially since mine weren’t opposed to being the tasters (always a good sign).

Getting to research the food/beverage world this holiday season got me in the festive mood of going all out with celebrating. Here are some of those amazing choices I found for you all to try for the next extravaganza.

A party needs the perfect cocktail and this Caramel Apple Mimosa is a fantastic holiday twist on a classic. I am salivating just thinking about having another one 🙂

Caramel Apple Mimosa

Here is the list of accoutrements you will need:

  • 2 tbsp. of Caramel
  • 2 tbsp. of Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1 c. of Apple Cider
  • 8 oz. of Caramel Vodka (I used 4 oz because I didn’t want a super strong cocktail, but go for it!)
  • 1 bottle of Champagne (I used Wilson Creek Winery’s Almond Champagne, which worked deliciously, yum!)
  • Apple Slices

For the full recipe be sure to visit, Delish.com and don’t be afraid to put your own twist on it and sip away. (*it is more than okay to be a little Naughty around the holidays)

Now what bites to pair with this delicious beverage for that festive soiree? I say this Antipasto Wreath (from Delish.com) with its festive rosemary wreath paired with a holiday color fun of these delicious Roasted Butternut Squash, Ricotta and Sage Crostini (from BonAppetit.com).

These both show the fun cheer of Christmas and Winter cheer with the symbols and tastiness we know and love for this time of year. Here are the yummy ingredients you will need for both. (Remember, use what you love to make each your own)
