When it comes to poetry, there’s something about the Farsi language that makes it sound like it’s spoken in a sher ~ melody.

Rumi is one of my favorite story-tellers from 13th-century Persia. I hope the name sound familiar — and no, not because Leonardo DiCaprio might play him in his next film — but because Rumi’s life affected yours in some light.

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

Rumi created a series of impactful waves when he wrote. His teachings reached as far as being an Islamic scholar, a jurist, theologian, and Sufi mystic.

The wound is the place where the Light enters you.

I believe that we are stronger than we give ourselves credit for — our thoughts and intentions reach farther than we can image, and with enough drive, our love can move mountains. I believe that often times the cure to our pain is the very thing causing it. “My torturer became my remedy,” she says, “so we’re gonna heal.” L E M O N A D E.

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.

Simply put ~ F L Y  because you can. I believe that the purity of the heart is the strongest and most powerful tool within us.

Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
