The Doost: What are two of your favorite trends you see emerging in Manhattan this season Summer?
➀ One major trend that I see all over is the flat lens aviator trend!
As seen on Kylie and Kendall Jenner. The Flat lens aviator by Elizabeth and James has been a popular feature this summer!
➁ Another trend I’ve notice is the infamous choker!
Chokers are making a comeback as well as a statement! It’s not just the usual gothic girl that’s wearing one these days.
The Doost: What are your go-to accessories and how do you best style them?
➂ If you know me, you know my favorite accessory that was ever invented is the HAT.
Whether its a Fedora, snapback or skully I love to incorporate a hat into my look. If you’re wearing a LBD a fedora hat can dress up the look — or a simple snapback can give a sporty look to the LBD.
➃ Another favorite go to accessory, and not because I want to but because I have too, is-eyewear!
You gotta love a good statement frame! Recently, I’ve been pairing a lot of sporty trends with my white eye glasses. I also love a clear aviator frame and a good oversized sunglass.
➄ When traveling, in the big apple, I always carry a long cardigan.
➅ Some of my trend inspirations actually come from my mother! When I look at her style in the 70’s, 80’s even the 90’s — I try to incorporate that into my own wardrobe.
