A Taste of France in NYC at Bagatelle | Top ➂ Reasons To Experience

The French lifestyle has always stood the test of time with its elegant ways, Parisian trends, and delicious cuisine.

So while I’m in New York and want to satisfy my French cravings, I go to one of my favorite places — Bagatelle ♥ known for its delicious cuisine and great weekend day-club brunches.

If you’re anything like me and prefer the atmosphere during more quieter times — YOU must stop in on the weekdays for lunch or dinner. If you work in the area — I highly recommend it for business meetings, lunch gatherings, office catering, or most importantly — when you just need a break with a good cocktail and cuisine!

Bagatelle sits in one of New York’s most favorite neighborhoods — the Meatpacking District. Where some of the most influential work, play, and dine. With the classic cobblestone streets and trendy gems hidden on these blocks — it’s no surprise that …

A contender for the most glamorous neighborhood in Manhattan, the Meatpacking District is known for its go-go nightlife and exclusive door policies, where sun-scorched insomniacs party in hot tubs while sipping fruity cocktails. But the neighborhood, which runs from Gansevoort Street to West 14th Street and from the Hudson River to Hudson Street, has plenty of cultural, outdoor and culinary pleasures, making it much more than a bacchanalian hub.

NYC Go

Bagatelle has 3 factors that will never run out of style — delicious French cuisine, its remarkable atmosphere, and some of the best service you can find in New York.

… what an excellent experience it was.  From start to finish, everything was excellent.

➀ I’ve tried over a dozen dishes and each one just melted in my mouth — you can taste the quality and care that goes into every dish. No matter how packed the restaurant gets, the fun always continues!

Chef Nicolas Frezal gets to experiment with new signature dishes first before any other location – and it’s happening now exclusively at NYC Bagatelle!

I want them to feel the food is fresh, light, and good!

One way of doing this is taking out more carbs to replace with delicious light vegetables — perfect for the summer!

Having the pleasure of great company, with Mar Suarez — part of the creative team at Bagatelle — and their newest head Chef Nicolas Frezal.

The restaurant’s talented Chef Nicolas Frézal breathes new life into the chic St. Tropez meets Paris inspired restaurant with concoctions such as Crab Salad with Grapefruit and fennel, Jumbo Prawns “au Pastis”, and Wild King Salmon Poêlée in addition to finessing classic Bagatelle dishes such as Tartare de Thon (Yellow fin tuna tartare, avocado, cilantro, citrus soy vinaigrette, taro chips) and Poulet Truffe Pour Deux (Truffle natural whole roasted chicken, roasted yukon gold potatoes, shallots, button mushrooms-for two).

We shared the burrata special, indulged in our own appetizers — I had their signature Tartare de Thon and Wawa had one of their newest additions to the menu, the heirloom salad with crumbled feta cheese.

➂ Right now they have a sweet mid-week celebration featuring their Bacchanal Tuesday special that is 50% off all wine bottles and if the bottle is $500+ there is a 30% discount. In addition, on Tuesdays — if you bring a bottle there is no cork fee → while we’re talking great deals → they have pre-fixed lunch experiences happening as well …
