Claudia LI Preservation Through an Emotional & Mental Destruction // NYFW FW16

Claudia LI Preservation Through an Emotional & Mental Destruction // NYFW FW16

Claudia LI has a vision — her collection is a fun play on denim, broad cuts, and a wonderful array of colors. The hues are lovely and the flares are as big as they can get. The designer, Claudia LI, did a wonderful job of flirting with size, layered fabrics, and brilliant color hues. This season is the return of leather accessories!

For Fall/Winter 2016, Claudia wanted to express self-preservation: the idea of preserving oneself after an emotional and mental destruction; the collection embraces the period right after. The process of recovering and the past seemingly becoming an illusion is shown through wrapped silhouettes, origami knots, panels and layers of fabric.

Some of my favorite — draped in fabrics that allow me to be cozy, comfortable, and oh so stylish!
