Top 3 Reasons to Try Up On 20 Rooftop at Hyatt Herald Square
It’s rooftop season in NYC which means people are coming out of their winter holes and everyone I know is ready to embrace summer with rooftops, great company, and delicious food!
Since the Hyatt in Herald Square opened — I’ve stopped by quite a few times and this time it was to enjoy the rooftop view at Up on 20!
Here are my Top 3 reasons:
➀ The View!
This is where it gets real!! Up on 20 is an incredible skyline panoramic and all around 360° view of NYC including the Empire State Building with comfortable outdoor terrace seating and icy cocktails to go along with it!
The view in the evening.
➁ Dessert!
I’m not one to restrict myself so when 4 ladies and 1 gent weren’t sure which dessert to order — I ordered them all!
Yes I may seem a little over the top with it, but let’s look at the logistics:
☯By the Numbers: 5 people — 4 dessert options — checks out
☯The Size: Let’s be real here — almost no dessert is as big as your meal — I say almost because yes there are nutella pizza calzones & other delicious gems
☯The Attitude: I’ve often found people get shy when it comes to ordering dessert — as if it’s a sin or rude. I’ve found dessert to be one of the highlights of every meal & even though people shy away from ordering them — the desserts make them happy & they will always enjoy it!
➂ The Sharing Platters!
The sharing options on the menu are fun & light — not to mention great to shareツ Below are some of our favorites — for their full food menu click here — we also loved the avocado shrimp salad and their signature turkey BLTE sandwich, that’s E as in egg.
Maybe it’s the way they do it because I’m loving the seafood options here — from the salads to the sliders & ceviches with homemade rosemary potato chips — YES PLEASE!
We highly recommend the Stinky Brooklyn Cheese Platter!
Summer is lurking so get on with it and treat yourself to rooftop views, great company, and delicious foods — I hope to find you at Hyatt Herald Square’s Up on 20 Rooftop!
The whole rooftop experience is one of my favorites in NYC! My good friend Emily Kewon and I had a photoshoot moment as well — stay tuned for the pictures ♡ here’s a behind the scene look!
Ordered all the desserts? Sounds like me, was literally just here. Will go back to get the desserts.
