SIKI IM Really Puts the NY into NYFW 2015 with a Lower East Side Inspired Collection

I always look forward to SIKI IM’s collections during New York’s Fashion Week because he is always steps ahead. This time he teamed up with cult figure and artist Clayton Patterson, who also legalized tattooing in New York, to collaborate on a Lower East Side inspired theme intermixing the legend it was to how the streets are run these days and then tying it into the future possibilities of the legendary LES.

SIKI decided to take it local respecting the past but taking it to the future. Click on the audio below to hear what inspired his collection and more!

I loved that he had his collection on mannequins while images of models wearing the presentation flashed in the background using a projector.

The artsy details bring edge, the thunderbolt was my favorite!
