Girls Night with the Best On-Demand Beauty App in NYC

Girls Night with the Best On-Demand Beauty App in NYC

When I discovered Bella, my now-favorite on-demand beauty app in NYC, the first thing I wanted to do was host a girls’ night. I love that I can use an app to make an appointment for a beauty service in the comfort of my own home — and I couldn’t wait to book several Bella artists for a night with a few friends.

I originally found out about Bella through my friend Gina Doost, fellow blogger and founder of this site — WhatTheDoost.com. Gina was out of town when Bella hosted their launch party, but forwarded me the invite so I could check it out on my own. It was at Bella’s party that I met Waverly Bair, the blogger behind Pich and Roor, and we immediately clicked. I’ve been to my share of blogger events, but let me tell you — the Bella launch party was one of the best because there were so many interesting and down to earth people in attendance. Bella’s founder, Amy E.D’Agostino, truly did an amazing job at handpicking such a dynamic group of talented bloggers.

When I first started talking to Amy about doing a collaboration, I knew I wanted to include Gina and Waverly. We’re three New York City bloggers with similar interests but our blogs each have their own unique style. In a nutshell, Gina’s blog is focused on lifestyle, Waverly’s on fashion and mine is on travel — but we also all have overlap into the other categories. Plus, we’re all connected through Bella’s launch party; I wouldn’t have met Waverly if Gina hadn’t sent me the invite. In the end, I think my favorite thing about Bella is that it’s not only a beauty service, but it has such a strong foundation based on connecting with others and feeling good about yourself — which is why it attracts such amazing and positive people. I really wanted to host a girls’ night that would showcase this unique trait, and so it only made sense that I would invite Gina and Waverly.

The icing on the cake for me was that The Paper Factory Hotel was kind enough to allow us to host our little event in one of their super adorable rooms. I think the photos speak for themselves: Bella + Paper Factory Hotel + amazing friends = the most amazing staycation in New York City.
