Suubi Means Hope || A short on my month-long trip to Uganda

It’s been almost exactly a year since I returned from my month-long trip to Uganda. I’ve been going through the photos I took — you can expect to see many of them soon. My trip to Uganda was such an amazing experience, but more and more, I feel like the greatest experience has happened since coming home. I’ve learned so much about myself in the past year and I credit so much of that to the lessons I’ve learned from re-witnessing the stories, videos and photography of the people I met on my trip.

I made this video last year, but for some reason it never made it onto my blog. So, as I continue working on my footage from Uganda, I wanted to share this video with you. Watching it brings back so many of my memories and makes me feel like I’m right back in Uganda. I hope it brings you a little of the same inspiration.
