Citizen Ciao: You are the NEW

Welcome to the word of Citizen Ciao, where comfort with style is the Cali way!

This Los Angeles based brand has introduced me to a new style of comfort.  I’m in love, yes head-over-heels, for the soft fabrics. Their ‘WE ARE THE NEW’ sweater might just become THE sweater for me. Besides snuggling in it in my lazy days I can also pair it with my American Apparel leather pants, any tights, or one of my free people styled long skirts.

and the shoes I got on sale from Urban Outfitters for $40 that was originally $180!

The sunglasses are a statement piece I can pair with almost anything on a sunny day. My new Beau & Ro all leather handbag is also a go-to for me. I can wear it like a clutch or up my 90’s game and style it like a fanny pack around my waist. Not only does it make my life more comfortable *LOOK MA TWO HANDS* but it also looks good. 

I paired the ‘WE ARE THE NEW’ sweater during NYFW with one of my favorite shades of blue, a satin blouse and black vegan leather tights, both from American Apparel, to step up the comfort in my style as well as adding the feminine touch to it. Chanel became an icon through that philosophy and I still follow it today.

Citizen Ciao is a lifestyle streetwear brand for men and women, inspired by the Southern California surf culture.  The brand’s “citizens” have an urban attitude and are diverse and multicultural, hence the brand’s slogan, “the new surf.”  This brand new urban-infused surf brand just launched in July, 2014 and is available now at: www.citizenciao.com.
