NYC in Spring: South Street Sea Port!

South Port

I recently moved to the Financial District and it’s so amazing! It feels like the real New York, you know, the kind you see in the movies. When people first arrived to the states, the ports were their first stop. The city grew from the South side to the North until the island was packed. That is why this place is a MUST SEE!!

Welcome to the South Street Sea Port of New York!

My backyard is always an adventure and now that the weather is getting better I spend more time outside. The transition has again brought out my allergies Oi!

I find myself constantly itching my eyes. I can’t wear any eye make up because it only adds to the irritation. Although my allergies catch up to me, I’ll gladly trade my eye make-up for sunglass season, any day. YAY SPRING!!

So many people were out enjoying the sun. This place is inspiring and the view is breathtaking, I can see the Brooklyn Bridge!

I even got photobombed by a yogi doing an awesome pose. Ooooo yea!

Diner There’s lots of shops and great spots to eat, we chose to go to this amazing hole in the wall diner called Pearl Diner. I loved how they accommodated all our cravings. I woke up with pancakes on my mind but I still wanted to be good to my body. So they mixed up some whole wheat blueberry batter for me and cooked them to perfection. They even stocked us up on extra sour pickles for our roast beef sandwich, excellent quality.

I love exploring the city, follow me on my adventures and most of all YOU should visit these places!!! Traveling is good for your soul and the experience will better you.

Travel is the ultimate inspiration.
