A TOURIST IN MY OWN TOWN, NYC 2014

I love walking through the city and New York offers just the right amount of work and play in my day.

The West Village is one of NYC’s most picturesque neighborhoods filled with amazing architecture including Washington Square Park. I have taken many of my visitors through this park and they agree with me, Washington Square is a must see sight! No matter what the season is, people come to enjoy the scene.

Jeff and I noticed something cool about the Washington Square Arch. If you look through to the north you see the Empire State building and if you look through to the south you see the Freedom Tower.

Today was quite cloudy and Jeff still got a great shot of the Freedom Tower through the arch but the Empire State Building didn’t have the same kind of picture day. The clouds were covering the building.

There’s always a lot going on at the park. On warmer days, artists, musicians, chess players, locals, and tourists come out to play. Today, we appreciated an artists work with powder.
