Life is too short to wear boring clothes!

So dress to impress and have fun doing it, there’s never a wrong way when you’re being YOU!!! Melanie Rodriguez, founder and designer at Milané Noir, shares some of her fashionable advice:

The #1 Rule is:

Don’t follow the rules! Be what you want. You can always find a way to get away with it. Play with what you have & make it work!

For example, floral pants and prints are daring and exciting to play with. But at the same time, too much can be overwhelming. Melanie advises balance.

If you want to wear floral pants pair it with a darker top and add a blazer. Finish it off with a dark lipstick.

The #2 Rule:

Give yourself plenty of options and keep your closet full of choices.

But let’s be real, we cannot overdo it. Leave the rest minimal if not anything. Melanie’s statement go-to’s are bracelets or necklaces.

With the rainy and cold season our wardrobe selection is more limited but not impossible. Melanie advises to rock the pulled back hair look and definitely show off your cute beanies!!
