Brode Electrolyte Vitamins║ Join the Cause & #BrodeBenefits
The older I get the more I find myself conscious of what I put into my body.
Beside the fact that my metabolism isn’t what it was back in my teens, I also love the benefits of feeling healthy and being active. I used to depend on sport drinks like Gatorade and Powerade for my electrolytes, but because of their high amount of added and unnecessary sugars, we broke up years ago. I’d rather enjoy the sugars in my nutella crepe or something.
Turns out others thought so too, but one had the will to make it happen:
It was something I wanted but it didn’t exist so I had to make it happen!
— Marc Brodeur founded Brode Electrolyte Vitamins.
This is the first sports-drink alternative to:
Combine electrolytes with a carefully curated boost of B-Vitamins, all packaged in an insanely convenient tablet form. Take Brode with any drink of your choice, just like a multivitamin.
If you’re not familiar with the intake of electrolytes, you’ll be amazed as to how much of a difference it can make in your mood. Electrolytes are what allows your body to communicate. These signals are sent through electrolytes, the lower your electrolytes the more sluggish and slow you’ll feel. Brode is a life saver in this case and it helps with multiple scenarios. Whether you’re traveling or drinking:
This is how Brode works:
Marc recommends to take no more than 4 at a time, and says 2 is usually a good number. The only thing that would happen if you took too many, your body will tell you ‘you need more water.’ He advises, like any other vitamin, don’t take it on an empty stomach. I take mine in the morning with either water, coffee, juice or a smoothie from Pure Green. This has really helped me with my workout routines. I’ve also taken 2 tablets on my flight from NYC to LA a couple months ago, and it really made a difference and something I plan to continue with my traveling lifestyle.
Sport drinks like Gatorade carry over 200 calories and these drinks were invented for college athletes who burn thousands of calories a day. Marc is one of those rare breeds who’s extremely intelligent and a great athlete.
When I was younger, drinking a big bottle of Cherry Coke wasn’t a problem. But now as I’m older drinking those flavored, blue, and green drinks doesn’t appeal to me anymore.
With a strong education in math economics as his major, he reversed engineered the Pedialyte bottle — similar to drinks like Gatorade.
I knew I could do this cheaper! The biggest issue was the potability in flavor, if somehow I could turn this into a tablet and create all the benefits of the vitamin and portability. I took the DIY mixture and turned them into these vitamin tablets.
But Brode is more than just a game-changer in your vitamin intake. Brode is about helping yourself while helping others, “doing the essentials the right way.” Marc, with a great understanding of community, explained his passion for charity and helping small businesses — thus he’s created the #BrodeBenefits campaign where the company Brode will donate $1 to Kiva each time someone hashtags #BrodeBenefits on Instagram and Twitter to support small entrepreneurs around the world.
The best part of this is it’s up to YOU — meaning, for every picture YOU post using Brode and hashtagging #BrodeBenefits on Instagram and Twitter YOU’LL be adding to this great cause!
It’s about helping someone help themselves, being a good neighbor.
Check out Brode on Kiva and track who you’ve helped!
