My saga to find the best hotels for travelers coming to New York continues ☆ My standards are high — as I’m looking for design, comfort, amenities, and of course LOCATION! A good hotel brings you that extra touch to make you feel welcomed – The Library Hotel in Midtown fits the bill and more!

The Library Hotel is walking distance from Grand Central and the famous NYC Library & Bryant Park — as well as a simple stroll away from the famous designer stores on Fifth Avenue.

➀ The Theme│For All Book Lovers

The theme of this hotel is obviously summed up in its name — The Library Hotel. This place is stacked with engaging books for ALL interests — a wide range of categories to choose from and just like a library you can check out/borrow at your convenience.

This lovable slender building is located on the corner of Madison and 41st — where each floor and room is themed with its own subject and I LOVED the one they gave me, my heritage — “The Middle Eastern.” Special thanks to Ivana Bolf for adding the special touch of comfort to my stay!

Upon arrival, this 250 square foot room had me in awe, ready to relax, and wanting to read every book on the shelf! Their selection is detailed and very much appreciated! Manhattan is a small island filled with many people but because of that space is limited, but The Library Hotel offers more space than the average hotel and the design makes it feel even more spacious making it one of my top hotel choices in Manhattan. There is something about the exposure of personal space, it alters your mood and eases your comfort. Choose the Delux Room like I did & enjoy your stay!

➁ Accommodations & Amenities

Complimentary Wine & Cheese: I love this — happy hour is a cultural part of the NYC experience and what better place to have it then in your hotel. You’ll find the right mood to explore the city deep into the night.

Complimentary Continental Breakfast: this is the real deal doosts! This breakfast is stocked with variety and deliciousness. As a chocolate lover — Nutella being at the serving station made my heart melt with joy!

Their coffees are strong and drinks are on point. It’s amazing when all this and more is part of your stay!

➂ Dining & Bar │ Madison & Vine Restaurant

Madison & Vine is the hotel’s American Bistro and International Wine Bar at street level — and as beautiful and packed as the restaurant was, we ordered in room service because, well, the comfort of the beds and decor just made us want to relax and enjoy our meal in our room. The food was exceptional. I LOVED the jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer with my salad and Jeff had a mouth watering lamb sandwich I had to try a few bites of too it was so lean and delicious!

I was impressed when I saw the different options they had for fries — truffle, spiced herbs, and sweet potato — I’m such a fries kind of girl — I had to get the sweet potato friesツ You’ll be coming back to Madison & Vine for years once you try it!

Like any true New York experience — Rooftops are a must!! The Library Hotel offers just that — the Bookmarks Lounge — where every drink and nook keeps up with the book lover theme!
