Jay Godfrey Inspires during NYFW 2015

I got an early start on Valentine’s Day, with my fiancé/photographer, to get to the Lincoln Center for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week show to meet designer Jay Godfrey before his presentation and talk about what inspires him. Listen to the interview to hear him talk about how “creating newness is everything” to him and more.

Jay is very kind, personable, and talented as the interview continued, Jay spoke about how his first thoughts when he got into the fashion business was “what the fuck did I get myself into?”

Jay inspires me with his will and talent. He makes the point that following your dreams yes it’s difficult but far from impossible … and he LOVED my outfit, by Kate Stoltz, and accessories, by Syd and Pia, as much as I did!
