Deva’s Favorite Few Affordable Los Angeles Experiences
LA has a ton of amazing places to go and explore. In fact, there are so many that I haven’t even touched many of them myself. But I do know I have some places I absolutely adore. If you’re ever in LA you should check out these gems!
Wildwood Canyon Park: If you love incredible views, moderate foot traffic, and wild untamed nature this is a hiking spot for you. This luscious location is just above Burbank, home of Warner Brothers, Disney, and other major network studios. It’s tucked away in the hills and has the most fantastic views that span all the way to the ocean. A workout and a knock out of a view.

- Good Times at Davey Wayne’s: Even though this joint manages to have a line every night of the week, I can’t get enough. Davey Wayne’s is a super fun 70’s themed bar in Hollywood. It’s packed with hipsters and is a purveyor alcoholic snow cones sold out of a trailer in the back yard. The ambiance is fantastic and the music is always on point. A dance party is sure to happen. Right off of Hollywood, you’ll find yourself transported into a different funkier dimension.

- Upright Citizens Brigade: Nestled in Franklin Village the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) is a hot spot of funny people in funny shows. UCB started in NYC and has made it’s way to LA. It offers some of the most affordable and hilarious comedy in town with shows coming in at $5 a pop. Just make sure you book your tickets ahead of time because they are a hot commodity. UCB has an Alumni to be admired with such names as Amy Poehler, Aziz Anasari, Ed Helms, Aubrey Plaza… the list goes on.

I didn’t even get into amazing Mexican, perfection in Vinyards in Malibu, the most beautiful beaches, incredible museums and art gallery’s. There’s so much to do here so come explore!
