Inspiring Travel Through the Dominica Challenge 2015
Last year, I entered the Dominica Challenge, and I was SO excited when I was announced as a semi-finalist. I felt like I was this close to winning a trip to what looks like one of the most incredible islands (and with my favorite person in the world)! But then, the team announced the official trip dates and it was right in the middle of my already-planned trip to Brazil.
Of course, my trip to Brazil was wonderful, but I’ve been dreaming of Dominica for the past year! I’m so excited that there’s another opportunity to take a trip this year — I’m beyond ready to escape to the nature island!

[ UPDATE 2/2 ] I received an email announcing that I was one of 20 semi-finalists! They’re narrowing the selection down to the final six within the next week, so cross your fingers for me again!
[ UPDATE 2/9 ] After a week of obsessively checking @DominicaStory’s Twitter, they finally announced the last winning team. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the cut, BUT there were over 2,000 entries and so I’m beyond humbled to have been one of the top 20. Cheers to next year’s competition!
