8 Instagram Photographers You Should Follow Right Now!!

On my commute up to CT for the holidays, I do the usual web browsing; searching for cool articles, catching up on my social media, all while listening to great tunes. This is a must share gem I found on the Huffington Post by Katherine Brooks; 27 Highly Talented Instagram Photographers You Should Follow Right Now!!

Brooks asked a great question we can all relate to:

Is your Instagram feed filled with a disgraceful amount of feline-themed glamour shots, food porn and a deluge of shameless selfies?

Yes! Yes! and UGH!! Sometimes I’m blown away by the awesomeness of pictures, there are some seriously talented and inspiring people in the world. Thank you! They  can capture a moment perfectly and tell a story in a quick caption.

Then there are the hilarious must share ones, TheFatJewish tops that category hands down! Though I could go on about how great some others are I also often come across the WTF ones… um… okay… why did you think that was publish worthy?

4. Humans of NY: Is one of the most inspirational profiles. It’s just a kid with a iPhone taking pictures of New Yorkers and asking meaningful questions. It’s the answer that makes it so unique.

5. AlexPrager: This beautiful artist takes you on a stroll through the “back alleys of the art and culture world.” – Katherine Brooks

6. Brooklyn Street Art: I love street art and finding them when they’re up. To follow the street artworks of NYC follow BSA!

7. Paul Octavious : Meet Chicago based photographer & storyteller Paul and follow him on his adventures! He’s highly recognized and credited. He will blow your mind. 

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Octavious knows how to turn a mundane photography trend into a meme-worthy Instagram phenomenon.
