Christmas Trees & Apple Picking in Westchester County
Another fun day-trip from New York City
With some hardcore 90’s and our baby in his corduroy overalls (oh so Autumn-esque) we drove up to Stuart’s Farms in Westchester. This county, which begins just north of Manhattan, is similar to what Beverly Hills is to LA, but without the glam or Hollywood limelight.
Lucky for us – our friend Pinsi Lei invited us up with them for an Autumn experience. Her son Charlie was born just 9 days after Jordan. Parent activities are something I really enjoy plus making baby friends is soooooo adorable. I imagine they’re going to embark on adventures like the Rugrats.
I like this place, it was so big and from what I heard, very popular. Even with a crowd there in October it felt pretty socially distanced. They are open all year round and even sell Christmas trees. If you do go take a look at their trees, and you must stop by their shop for some yummy baked goods.
The foliage on the East coast is probably the most beautiful in the whole country and Autumn is my favorite season. The way the leaves turn, bringing us into Fall. It’s like a Bob Ross painting of auburn, orange, and burnt sienna that takes over our senses. While indoor activities are still something we need to be weary about, take some time to explore the great outdoors and breathe in some crip clean nature.
