A Play Gym for Tummy Time and Beyond by Lovevery
It felt like Christmas morning for our little baby in August. I mean, the things you do for your baby’s smile, right?
We had heard of this play gym called Lovevery for newborns and toddlers that is designed to help with behavioral and brain development.
Our goal is to help every parent feel confident. Our play products are designed by child development experts and distilled to their simplest, purest purpose: to be exactly what children need at each stage.

Jeff picked up our packages late that August night, the first months of a newborn you kind of lose track of the hours and days. But we had received our Lovevery play gym with excitement. Even though we had barely slept that week, and had a million and one tasks still left on our plate to finish … we decided to stay up late and set it up so that the next morning when Jordan awoke, he’d feel like we did during Christmas morning discovering gifts under the tree. We’d do anything for our baby’s smile. (His actual first reactions with the photos above).
Lovevery provides stage-based play essentials that are designed by experts and founded by passionate parents. As he’s grown from laying around on his back, to crawling around like crazy, he’s found different toys and aspects of the mat to keep him occupied and entertained.
Why we love it:
Unpacking it was exciting to us – every piece we pulled out looked both fun and colorfully pleasing to the aesthetic eye. But best of all, each item has a specific job – to aid your baby’s brain development.
What I enjoy most, to this day, besides the way he lights up playing with his toys – is the stack of index cards they send that better explains your baby’s capabilities and interests through each month of their early lives. It feels like the manual you needed leaving the hospital.
Why he loves it:
It’s a place that stimulates his interest. He has all sorts of colors, shapes, and textures to play with. Most parts of the play gym have multiple functionalities – so he keeps coming back for more.
If you sign up for the subscription, your baby will receive a curated toy box every two months. We’re on month 7 and 8 where Jordan loves playing with the ball drop box where he drops wooden balls through a round hole. He also likes to make a lot of noise banging the stainless steel drinking cup with a handle and keeps it quiet with the felt balls. I look forward to seeing what’s in the curated toy box for the next age group!
Being first time parents isn’t easy and trying to read up on stacks of books and weaving through websites to find what’s best for your child is hard enough. And all the conflicting information out there is truly overwhelming. Lovevery is a wonderful tool for both babies and parents. I wish we had this play gym sooner, it’s a great place to start with newborns and watch them grow with it through their toddler years.
