Why Michael Costello Should Dress All the Stars NYFW│FW17
I remember my first year at NYFW — it was beyond spectacular, it was outrageous and oh so glam. It was September 2013 and I stepped into Michael Costello‘s show without the knowledge of fashion I have today, but he still blew me away and manages to do so every single time.
What I love is witnessing these designers grow — seeing them still humble and ambitious makes all the difference. Last season, Costello chatted with me and my husband wishing us so many blessings on our nuptials. This year, I get to see his own blessings reach further height’s.
During Sunday night’s Grammy’s — Costello dressed so many stars on and off stage. Including performers Alicia Keys and Maren Morris. As well as Travis Barker and his two kids. Yes there is a kids collection!

Michael Costello’s exquisite designs dominate every prestigious red carpet award show – from the Grammys to the Oscars. His unparalleled instinct to perfectly enhance the natural hourglass figure has garnered the attention of stars like Beyoncé, JLo, Lady Gaga, Kate Hudson, and more. He has been featured in all major fashion publications including Vogue, WWD, NY Times, Harpers Bazaar and Apparel News. Several of Costello’s dresses are on display at the Grammys Museum.
But why should Costello dress all the stars? Because he has built an empire by making women of all shapes and sizes feel beautiful.
Below is his entire NYFW FW17 collection — inspired by a woman’s inner power ↓
The Michael Costello woman this season is the enviable vixen, which could be described as the coolest chick on the planet. She is a rock and roller who takes center stage with her magnetic charisma and extravagant nature. She knows who to attract almost any eye and how to turn a cold shoulder to those who don’t understand her fire. We are telling her love story this season because when a woman with this much magic falls in love, it is a story that everyone wants to watch.
About Costello → A self-taught prodigy. Fashion was something that came naturally to him and he started sketching dresses at on his bed-room wall at the age of 2. Costello opened his first store at 15. While many recognize him from “Project Runway”, Costello quickly blossomed beyond mainstream television. Just a boy from Sherman Oaks making his mark on fashion. Shout out to LA ~ California ♥ I’m from Costello’s neighboring city ~ Encino.
