A Look Into NYFWM with Modern Society // FW17
NYFWM is upon us and it’s the mens turn to debut. Because guess what — ‘ladies first’ shouldn’t have to be a thing.
To kick things off for me — I was invited to the Modern Society show at the Prince George Ballroom in NoMad’s district. The location alone is historic and breathtaking. And from the looks of it, Modern Society is destined for just that.

Trends I’m noticing — furs and lots of it. While I’ve kept mine classic, bold colors and prints are becoming more of a norm. My favorite are the ones with ⭐️ starfish like Nicole’s here:
Though I’ve taken a lighter route this time with my grays — I’m loving the darker tones of winter. I’m feeling very tribal these days … with a touch of American-o. My dress is from an Indonesian designer IFG on 108 E 31st Street in Manhattan
What I love — is the way Modern Society is keen with its details — like an architect hard at work. My favorites consisted of the velvet pieces along with the more comfortable tones. Making sweats look good is a skill! Also, how adorable is this little girl working the runway ↓
