The 9 Ultimate Wardrobe Must Haves for Fall/Winter 2017 ♡ My Wishlist
As NYFW is approaching — next month people — I got wardrobe on my mind. Since it’ll be in February, one of the coldest months of the year — I have to prep for warmth and comfort while I think outrageous as well as timeless style. After all, I want to make a memorable statement Every. Single. Day!
So to the fashion GoD’s and fate — Here is my wish-list ツ — that I’m hoping will miraculously appear just in time! ‘Cause just as the saying goes … “If you build it, they will come” … that applies to closet space and physical lists too right??
Let’s talk Coats:
➀ The 5 in one useful coat from Andrew Marc ↓
Here’s to keeping it 100% warm → because furs are your friends and really do keep you warm. But keeping in mind that it also gets wet in February — I have my eye on this coat from Andrew Marc. It’s a five piece in one.
Their description: This Miranda parka offers five luxurious options to keep you in style through the seasons. The outer layer is a water-repellent cotton and features a fox fur-trimmed hood, hidden zip front closure with snap placket, snap flap chest pockets and peached side pockets. The cinch-able waist provides additional comfort. Rabbit fur liner can be worn alone, with the Thermo sleeves or without.
And while we’re talking AM…. #2 is another one from his selection that caught my eye.
➁ To keep it slim — every girl needs that one black go-to. Andrew Marc ↓
Just like the LBD — this coat gives me the same feels. What I love about the Charlotte coat is its slim look, long haired rabbit fur, and sophisticated leather details.
Their description: Bring glamour into your everyday with the Charlotte trench. Crafted in durable brushed wool, the Charlotte features a double-breasted button front closure and tonal textured wool detail at sleeves. Tonal leather details at tie-able waist belt, sleeve belts, and pocket welts. A removable long-hair rabbit cover at the oversized notched collar completes this upgraded look.
➂ And while we’re on the subject of fur on coats↓
I just simply desire it. Image courtesy of manrepellar.com.
Let’s talk Shoes:
➃ Because even shoes grow winter coats (not really) and Jeffrey Campbell makes for any great occasion ↓
Soooooo — let’s be honest — some of these are not very winter appropriate. But still doable. And I wouldn’t mind sacrificing a bit of something for these to grace my #ootd look!
➄ Platforms & leopard by Dune London ↓
A classic wild print like this truly satisfies my inner animal.
➅ These CrocBlack or CrocRosie flats from Josefina’s ↓
These look comfortable, stylish, and something to work with all year round. For NYFW, I would style them with socks. Oh yeah, I’m a sock lover.
Since my skin is more on the toned side of life — being Middle Eastern and all — I’d go with the black ones first and if they’re as comfortable as they look, then get the nudes.
Let’s talk Bags:
➆ My most perfect statement with Chanel ↓
These two are from Chanel’s Fall Winter 2016/17 files. Both beautiful!! Both irreplaceable!! And both need to make their way into my wardrobe.
Tip: When choosing a smaller purse — like one of these — make sure to give it you phone test. meaning if your phone fits in the purse, you’re good! If not, then maybe reconsider your options. Because if you’re anything like me, your essentials start with your phone.
➇ My most perfect — everyday wear — Louis Vuitton ↓
Because I’ll be carrying my laptop with me in case I get some in-between time to blog on the go. While fashion is timeless — getting out these articles are not. So to keep it efficient, I carry with me my essentials. And during NYFW that lists tends to get long. What I love about this bag is its sophisticated style and generous capacity. The clinch on the side really transforms the look too!
The only thing I’m currently debating are their sizes — do I go with the Neverfull PM or their legendary Neverfull MM. The PM is 11.4 x 8.7 x 5.1 inches while the MM is 15.4 x 11.4 x 6.7 inches.
As their website says:
With its structured shape and timeless design, the Neverfull PM is a sophisticated bag for the city. Yet its generous capacity makes this icon a classic travel piece, too. In Damier Ebène canvas, the Neverfull PM is supple yet firm, for an impeccable line no matter what you’ve stowed inside.
OR:
Legendary Neverfull: always exactly what you need it to be. Capacious but not bulky, structured yet supple, at home on the town or in the country. Cinch the side laces, and voilà! it’s a sleek city bag. Loosen them and you have a chic, practical tote. The slim leather handles fit over the shoulder or on the arm. Shown here in Damier Ebène canvas.
➈ A backpack to last for centuries — Louis Vuitton ↓
Because we all need one to switch from between work, play, and travel.
