Just in time to start of the week! Yeah it’s Monday and even though it means back to work and all let’s get real and talk about the highlight of Mondays — which is planning out the rest of the week. For me this includes; friends, fun, happy hour, delicious foods, and the occasional random adventures.
If you’re in the city — that is New York City — make sure to check out some of the best options in Soho & the East Village:
1. Officina Latina — SoHo — 2 for one drinks. Large portions of Mexican food and great atmosphere.

3. The Black Ant — aka la hormiga in the East Village — Modern Mexican joint putting a creative spin on traditional eats & drinks in a dark, funky interior. Great happy hour prices for drinks and food thats $8. I love their backyard seating — the decor is so south western!
4. Mezzeto — East Village — we love their menu and setting, on the corner of Houston and 1st Ave. — this Mediterranean small dish tapas style restaurant is great for brunch with it’s bottomless options and has one of my favorite happy hour menus. I always get their falafel buns — I love that the falafels are stuffed inside a sweet bun! During their happy hour most dishes are 50% off!
