Weekend Lounging with Frank & Oak

My idea of a laid-back weekend consists of catching up on sleep, movies/t.v shows, while I’m all cozy with my man in sweats. After a full and exciting NYFW, I needed just that so Jeff and I stayed local all Saturday/Sunday after celebrating a friend’s birthday on Friday.

I had just received my box from Frank & Oak — a men’s clothing brand whose mission is to help a generation of men dress and live well. I wanted to do something special for my man so I had to listen to what he wanted/needed. He hinted to a new jacket and maybe a second wallet — loud & clear!

I got him this handmade wallet —  Maximum Henry Bi-Fold Wallet in Oxblood — and the Shawl Zip-Up in Carbon Heather jacket in gray. The authenticity on these are wonderful– he loves the fit and comfort of it and I love the style and look on him. While I was shopping for him, I decided to throw in something for me ツ I got these Denim-Look Sweatpants in Indigo because somehow men’s sweats are always just a bit more comfortable. I’m also a fan of integrating menswear into my look and I’m all for making sweats look good on a girl!

What he likes about his wallet most is the feel of the leather and that it’s sleek and thin, so great for going out and all you need is a credit card, an ID, and some cash. The jacket is a sophisticated look with modern touches.

While Saturday was all about chilling out — Sunday was more about exploring our neighborhood. We walked over to TriBeCa — enjoyed brunch and did a couple quick photoshoots. Both of us wearing Frank & Oak — I love it when couples can share clothes and with his jacket and my sweats — this would be something we could trade off if we wanted to.
