Desigual AW16 Collection // Colors and Patterns Oh My! NYFW
The brand well know for their optimistic & colorful approach — Desigual hit the runway at the Moynihan Station with a hand painted city skyline prop supporting the runway. The Autumn/Winter 2016 collection is inspired by city life and all of its creative lifeblood.
The entire collection reminds me of urban merged with 70s-style patterns and exquisite designs. To me, it’s somewhat of a psychedelic experience through patterns wonderfully outfitted!
The show gets into softer colors but keeping their spunk for patents and designs. These outfits make me feel happy! Though wearing them requires the right amount of sophisticated fierceness!

Some of my favorites included wild patterns, long overcoats, and fun edged hats. I’m all about sporting my coats on my shoulders — makes me feel like I’m walking with a cape ⇨ up! up! and away!
La Vida es Chula (Life is Cool) is Desigual’s slogan and way of looking at fashion and life. It’s an enthusiastic, positive and optimistic message that truly nails its colors to the mast.
