5 Hosting Tips for Planning a Stress-Free Game Day with Digiorno Rising Crust Pizza
When I think of hosting the game day the most important ingredient, beside the game of course, is FOOD! Keeping my guests happy but also being able to join in on the fun. That’s why this year I’m turning to a favorite of mine — DIGIORNO Rising Crust Pizza — because Digiorno pizza is so quick and easy to prepare, YOU can spend less time in the kitchen, and more time enjoying the game with friends and family.
Before I moved to the East Coast from the West — DiGiorno was one of my go-to’s for quality pizza! I want to bring that back and now share it with all my coasts. My fiancé is a huge football fan and I’m a big fan of hosting so to find a mutual ground and combine our interests we host football games and I get creative in the kitchen.
Here are my 5 hosting tips to help you stress less!
➀ We’ve got our eye on that pie!
Prep in advance because you don’t want to be running around on game day making unnecessary phone calls for delivery. Stock up with Digiorno Rising Crust Pizza and plenty of drinks!
A great way to be prepared for extra guests is to make sure to stock up on a few extra boxes!
➁ #maketherightcall
There are plenty of wrong calls made during the football season, but there’s one thing you can always count on as the right call to make on game day: DIGIORNO® pizza
Good quality and convenience does exists and it smells so good! This is a sure way to get that scent of fresh baked cheesy goodness all over your house that will sure to make your guests crave! A fresh-baked taste that can only come from your oven.
Follow the simple cooking instruction on the box. Tip: Do not take your pizza out of the freezer until your oven is at 400 degrees. The pizza pie does not need to thaw.
➂ Turn them into finger foods
Cut the Digiorno Rising Crust Pizza into bite size pieces so everyone can enjoy in moderation.
➃ Get your sauce game on! Dip it
I come from a family where we love variety and options — so leaving a few favorite dipping sauces out is a sure way to please anyones appetite. I have friends who love mustard on their pie and I must admit it’s a great combo — if you’re anything like me (Middle Eastern) then hot sauce is on your list. My tip is to add variety with sauces — a rainbow of sauces on your Digiorno Rising Crust Pizza pies!
➄ Refreshments
Stock up on drinks, have plenty of cold beverages and water at hand. This makes it easy on you and convenient for your guests, so you’re not running back and forth from the kitchen — Fill up an old wooden box, a couple metal ice buckets, and/or cooler(s) with ice and pile in the refreshments (anything your guests prefer) near your food station or even in the same room as where the big game is on. I like to keep one near the food station and the other near the couch for convenience.
With these tips you’re sure to have a successful & stress-free game day!
