Halloween Tips ▼ A Time To Play

We all like to say Halloween is for the kids but if we’re being honest it’s really for us. It’s the one time of the year we get to “play” again. I suppose we could all dress up like Snow White or The Mad Hatter any time of the year but it’s not so fun when you do it alone. So, we have a day where we get to dress up again, party freely, and enjoy the creative playful sides of ourselves. You’ve got to unleash your party planning parent and your carefree kid this season.

➀ Whether you look sexy in your costume, hilarious, or downright terrifying it’s up to you. Whatever you do, fully commit to it and yourself. Think of this day like your wedding, this is your day, cater to yourself.

➁ Think of Halloween like the ultimate play date. Take yourself back to the clear judgement of your five year old self, who would make the ultimate play time? Find the person that can get down the way you want to. Whether that’s going to the coolest party in town or scaring the kids who come knocking on the door, do it with some who gets “it.”

➂ And finally give yourself a day of lethargy. If you are partying on the weekend get your favorite Halloween movie, caramel corn, tiny candy bars, and a hot cocoa and cuddle up to Hocus Pocus. There’s nothing better than being as snug as a bug in a rug.

Don’t forget to have fun. Your inner child is begging to come out and play. Tis the season for tricks and treats. Who knows what you’ll see or who you’ll meet!
