Styled with the Left ║ An Outfit with Personality & Vintage Time
A night full of daring styles, sweet treats, and great personalities … that was the scene for the Styled with the Left event by Xaymara Rodriguez. Jeff and I attended in support of one of WtD’s very own contributors, Jessica Marti who is the makeup artistry and the Creative Director for Styled with the Left. I interviewed with the fashion stylist Xaymara, a unique and talented personal stylist — Xaymara, who is also the Creative Director, mixed a collection of high-end names with low-end designers, while experimenting with up-and-coming designers and thrifted gems!
It’s a new era in fashion – there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together.
— Alexander McQueen
A mixture of vintage classics, designer name, and thrift shop gems dazzled the floor. I interviewed with stylist Xaymara who expressed the importance of a piece instead of the label.
This expo had many sweet treats and a photo booth we had fun with!
Absolutely adore this black on black with black lips! A look that’s hard to pull off right. It’s about confidence, owning it, and having fun with it!
Yanell Galva impressed with her stylish ensemble of prints, bold colors, and detailed look!
One of Xaymara’s favorites she pulled from the Sweet PR Showroom, designed by Casa de Moda.
My whole attitude towards the fashion industry is that it’s very black and white — with the trends — people want to follow and stay on top of that — I respect that but my focus is different — I go in with a creative and artistic perspective.
I’m inspired by everything — it’s about mixing! Work with what you got.
Don’ts: don’t overdo it, don’t try hard and let it come naturally.Do’s: look at your closet and make it work!— Xaymara Rodriguez
It was an amazing noght, everything and everyone was beautiful… Great success Xaymara we love you.
