Lucky Guy offers men a one chair grooming experience in a private and modern environment. Each guest meets with men’s grooming expert, Pirooz “PRZ” Sarshar. Pirooz has served as the grooming authority for top publications such as GQ, Complex and Men’s Health while pioneering men’s shaving, skin and body care since 1999.
If you’re lucky you can catch Pirooz at Lucky Guys in the Flatiron District. Pirooz is a fascinating personality with multiple talents — a hair stylist, grooming expert, humanitarian, and star of Global Wards (coming in November). With a passion for helping people while making them feel good about themselves.
His salon is located in one of my favorite NYC areas and the space is privately overlooking Eataly, near Madison Square Park on 23rd street and 5th avenue.
Pirooz has a way with techniques and pays detailed attention to each individuals texturizing. Creating texture is to give movement and natural flow. The flow is his signature which he explains to be giving a good foundation and then putting it into movement. He periodically steps back from every angle to analyze his craft and by doing this I understand that Pirooz is a man of perspective, someone who understands the world is not black and white, someone who understands that angles and differences are everyone’s given right. In this case, Pirooz wants to get it right — and so he does.
