Pre-Workout Snack Attack ║ For Strength Training & Cardio
If you’re anything like me — and you struggle with your diet and workout THEN THIS IS FOR YOU! I’m a realistic dieter — I don’t like to cut out the foods I crave, instead I use moderation and for the most part it’s great because if I ever do eat too much of that unhealthy dish — my body isn’t deprived of it so it won’t double the calories or fat or any of those things!
But let’s be honest — getting back into shape and keeping it is a struggle. Through my learning process I’ve been surprised at some of the foods that are actually good and healthy for you. You DO NOT need to stick to just vegetables or no carbs!
One of my favorite fitness bloggers is Cassey Ho from Blogilates, and since I’ve subscribed to her newsletters I’ve learned so many great tips for foods and workouts. This week — she did it again and stunned me with her tips on your pre-workout snack. Her point is that it’s very important to fuel your body with what it needs before your exercise — as well as after — but for now let’s just focus on the pre-workout snacks!
Pre and post-workout nutrition is essential! The purpose of eating before and after a workout is simple – to fuel, repair and replenish your body. What you eat before and after exercise depends on the type of training you’re doing and its intensity.
