➃ Great Fashion Tips for Your Perfect 4th of July Outfit
Every year, in July, we get to celebrate all that is red, white, and blue!
While we express our interests differently — i.e. sport fanatics paint their faces for big games. We fashionistas paint our wardrobe with pride and this month’s theme is all about our love for the United States and our Independence day ★ ☆
➃ Major Fashion Tips for the 4th of July Outfit:
★ ☆ ➀ Want to rep the flag?
We’ve gone from waving our red, white, and blue star spangled banner to using creative ways to wear it and as much as I love the crop top look, it has been a bit overdone the past few years. Instead — I recommend wearing the flag the way it is intended to, with a little bit of rag from its surviving age. I like a faded look because it represents the battles & struggles it has overcome … and continues to. It gives it that respected vintage-esque look.
★ ☆ ➁ Be YOU, Be Bohemian.
In everything I do I like to incorporate a bit of myself, so a holiday like the 4th of July is no different. This year I want the bohemian side of me to make more of an appearance and that is why I chose these items below. My biggest tip is to play with prints and then tone them down with solid accessories — I chose thin gold bracelets with some character.
This is also a great opportunity to bring something unique to the party — like this soft yellow Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera.
★ ☆ ➂ Find your comfort while being effortlessly chic — the fabric is everything!
Part of the fun of 4th of July is spending it relaxing, eating, and drinking! Get some great beach time or lounge at the poolside and/or rooftops — this is where you want to be at!
My fashion tip is to keep it comfortable and effortlessly chic. This means pay close attention to your attires material. I prefer Splendid or Anje Studio because they truly have some of the best and softest fabric materials.
★ ☆ ➃ Layerings — it’s an all day event!
This is an all day event so keep in mind the weather as it changes throughout the day. While we are all hoping for sunny skies during the day and clear ones at night ☆fireworks☆ I recommend layering with lights. One of my favorite looks is unbuttoning that denim button up and throwing a white blazer over it — still keeping it in the red, white, and blue family ツ
