Eat at Joe’s║ Treat Yourself for National Burger Day
National Burger Day is one of THE BEST FOOD HOLIDAYS EVER ツ right next to Pizza Day of course — so in light of my love for burgers here’s my top recommendation for best burgers on the Upper West Side in NYC ♕ Joe’s Bar — Burgers. Cocktails. Beer.
Joe’s Bar is a collaboration of talent and good company. Anthony Serignese, the owner, brings a lot of experience and talented staff to this establishment from Stanton Social and Beauty & Essex downtown. The knowledge he’s gained from this industry is as strong as the staff he’s brought over including Joe’s manager Scott and cupcake baker Olivia.
The Food:
The menu is simple, delicious, and straight to the point! — see Joe’s full menu here — From the menu’s special touches of love to the comforting and always awesome 70’s vibe — this place feels right & tastes as good as you could hope!
The burgers are simple, juicy, and of great quality. The buns are sweet and made from buttered brioche and grilled to being simple the best! The fries are handcut and I love the smaller bottles of sauces that come with every meal — ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
This place attracts a diverse crowd — from the young crowd at the bar to the family enjoying their dinner at the booth.
Cocktails:
The drinks!! My recommendations are the Flash Gordon’s Breakfast — with Tequila, Cucumber, Thai Chili, Dolin Blanc, Mint — and the Scooby Snack (Slushy) — which is frozen Piña Colada with Coca Cola. Ask for the bartender Reeme!!

Dessert:
The dessert is only cupcakes that rotate flavors and all have real liquor in the mix — THE most delicious cupcake I’ve put in my mouth — These are baked by Olivia, from Dear Olivia Bakery in Brooklyn, who makes them with love and perfection. She’s even been featured on the Today Show!
