Tasca Chino Presents Spanish and Chinese Fusion on Park Ave
There’s a new face in the Flatiron District; Tasca Chino, located at 245 Park Ave South in New York City. David Sasson and Alon Gibli created an atmosphere of Spanish and Chinese culture, intertwining the best of both worlds. Last night, we attended the opening party and after sampling some of the dishes, it’s clear that he didn’t get confused, he simply innovated.

David and I spoke about the exotic decor and what his inspiration behind such a unique opening is. He said he wants patrons to feel like Chef Alex Ureña went to Spain then China, came back and got confused. The beautiful decor attracted an upscale crowd full of interesting people.
The restaurant opens its doors today; April 13th, 2015. We’ll hopefully return with a more formal review, stay tuned…
