The Met Gala Meets Humans of New York for an Epic Interview Among the Stars

Remember the 8 Instagramers I told you to follow, well one of them, Humans of New York, did an interesting spin for the Met Gala. We’ve heard and seen all the glamorous fashion pics, red carpet walks, and looks of the stars but nothing beats getting to know someone from the heart. That’s exactly what Brandon Stanton did on this night.

His photography has made a huge splash in NYC and now all around the globe. He approaches normal people and asks questions that lead to some of the most interesting, meaningful, and insightful responses. In a few words we connect like magic.

A few years ago, I’d probably feel pressured to be in there mingling. Now I just do what’s comfortable.

She still gets giddy when she sees a firefly.

 

What’s the most frightened you’ve ever been?

Right now. I’m in charge of making sure these statues don’t get damaged.
