Work Today, Play Tonight: Fashion Tips for Girls on the Go

This week I got together with some of my girls after work and I loved how versitile their outfits were coming straight from work. Professional enough for the office and fashionable enough for fun. So it got me thinking about the styles for the girls on the go, the young professionals. The ones that balance their personal and business life into one day. Which means getting together with friends after work for whatever pleasures you seek. Fun!

We plan for comfort, style, and weather which is sometimes unpredictable especially now that it’s Spring. NYC is unique, beautiful, and independent. With so many options and ways to gather fashion it’s interesting to see what people choose to wear, accessorize with, and create.

• Be bold with statement pieces! Meet Ida Iselin Eriksson and her ravishingly fun style. I love her accessory, the necklace is beautiful, strong, and tribal. She paired it with sophisticated business attire along with a light shade of pink lipstick and minimal makeup. The sheer tights give her the appropriate touch of sex appeal. Nicely done!

• Karina Escano makes me fall in love with polka dots all over again but there’s more. Ladies and gents, take a note that glasses are beautiful and with the right color can create a style that isn’t just for book worms anymore. Karina looks lovely in her all black and white dress, but take a closer look and the bold blue frames bring the tasteful edge to her style. So damn cool!

• Play with color! Since you’re keeping it classy with black, white and beige, then this is your perfect opportunity to dress up your shoes like Treeva Royes does with her fierce red ankle boots. The sheer bow-tie top is a beautiful addition, giving her a touch of sophisticated sexy.

• I’m loving Wawa Dessou’s combo with the innocent white Spring dress accessorized by a thin gold belt and keeping it all black underneath. Ladies, ankle high boots are a rave and very ideal for this season.
