You work hard and deserve a break … and since Spa Week is just around the corner in April, let’s get you a luxurious spa treatment at a great discount — how does 50 bucks sound? Spa Week’s national event from April 11th-17th allows millions to experience the healing and therapeutic benefits of spa treatments for just $50.

The 411 on Spa Week — here!

Reasons Spa Week is for YOU:

➀ Luxurious & therapeutical massages … for a third of the price! Fifty dollars people.

➁ It includes facials and at some spas even fancy pedicures are included.

➂ Health-wise — you should be getting massaged at least 4 times a year. I made up this fact, but I’m sure the # is at least that — here are some real facts on how it benefits your health:

  • Decreased anxiety
  • Enhanced sleep quality
  • Greater energy
  • Improved concentration
  • Increased circulation
  • Reduced fatigue
  • Eases digestive disorders
  • Soft tissue strains or injuries
  • Helps with sports injuries
  • Helps fibromyalgia
  • Cures headaches
  • Reduces insomnia related to stress
  • Eases Myofascial pain syndrome
  • Helps with Paresthesias and nerve pain
  • Eases TMJ pain

It’s more than just a luxury, it’s a necessity!

Here’s another recommendation to get you into your zen zone ॐ

To get things started for you doosts — I checked out a different type of spa treatment at Sheva Spa on Lexington and 48th St in NYC. At Sheva Spa their specialty is Thai and since I’ve had many of the European massages this was one I had to try — plus all my people know I can never say no to Thai. I dine at Thai spots about 3 times a week #noshame ツ

I highly recommend this Thai Spa — I got the Royal Thai Massage that’s 60 minute long and is valued at $130 or 90 minutes for $200. Thank goodness for Spa Week and it’s affordable prices. So basically this was my service:

Allow your entire body to feel vigorously energized during our Royal Thai Massage. Using a combination of stretching, muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure this treatment goes beyond the sensation of a classical massage. Also known as Thai Yoga Massage, your body will feel post yoga bliss without the workout. Your therapist will use his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move your body into a series of yoga-like stretches. All you have to do is arrive and let us take care of the rest.

…and SO on point it was. After my session, I felt like I had done over an hour of yoga while simultaneously gotten a therapeutic massage — it was wonderful! My massage therapist was Carl and he did a great job of focusing on the areas that really needed healing. He made me feel very comfortable and had great feedback on how I can improve my bad habits.

Every client gets a basket full of essentials you’ll need for the next couple hours which includes a Thai custom top and bottom, slippers, and a sleeping mask.

Afterwards I zoned out in their comfortable chairs with some green tea.
