The Top ➎ Last Minute Father’s Day 2015 Gift Ideas
There have been many instances in my life where I couldn’t have survived if it wasn’t for dad, there are also incidents where I was so stubborn and young that I thought I knew better — which I really didn’t. Though the older I get, the clearer I can see that because of my father’s hard work, unselfish sacrifices, and advice — every great accomplishment was made possible in part by my BaBa — father Doost — HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
I’ve had a hard life, but my hardships are nothing against the hardships that my father went through in order to get me to where I started.
For the man that continuously risks it all for you, your happiness, well-being, and more ♡ whose hard work and unconditional love is irreplaceable — here are my top 5 Father’s Day gift guide:
➊ Breakfast in Bed
Wake him up with some homemade beer bread — that’s right YOU heard “beer!” When I came across Boardwalk Food Co. Beer Bread Mixes I was immediately in awe — I’ve hardly met a man who turns down beer, sweets, or anything homemade — and this has ALL 3!
…inspired by vacations with family and friends on the Boardwalk of Atlantic City, which were frequent throughout founder and president Andy Yochum’s life.
They come in 4 flavors: Original, Rosemary Sea Salt, Lemon Poppy, and Cornbread — this is one of the easiest to bake with 3 simple ingredients; beer, butter, and this mix! All you do is pour your favorite 12oz beer, mix, and bake. If you use a mini muffin pan, it only takes 20 minutes for bite-sized balls of deliciousness. The hardest part is deciding which beer to use with all the choices out there.
TIP: Brew his coffee/tea just the way he likes — and add some side dishes like eggs to dip his beer bread into, and either bacon or sausage — the beer bread goes with almost everything!
➋ Customized Attire — Make it Personal ★
Shopping for men isn’t always easy — especially when it comes to attire. My advice and a tremendous gesture in gift buying is going for unique and special accessories. You can’t go wrong with a personalized/custom-made accessory and my favorites to turn to are bow ties and cufflinks because they are incredibly chic.
Bow Ties & Neckties:
My go-to brand for dads is Beau Ties — bow ties & neckties handmade in Vermont! They also have a wonderful customization program which makes for the perfect personalized gift(s)!
Cufflinks are my other top recommendation for Father’s Day and with Dune Jewelry yours will be thoughtful & elegant. Personalized accessories from Dune Jewelry’s for men — I wear their gold inlet cuff bracelet almost religiously. The greatest thing about these pieces is that each is customized to a memory so you can always carry it with you! Do you have fond memories with dad on a special island? They’ll put real sand from there in the piece if they have it in their extensive stock.
➌ Grooming Products because we can all use a little help from these friends ♬
For the dad with a beard or looking to grow one — TIP: ask mom if he’s looking to grow a beard. They will love Maestro’s Classic line of grooming products because it’s designed to help them craft a stronger, healthier beard. I love their gift set which comes with their Beard Wash — sulfate free — and their Beard Butter that adds conditioning agents to help groom an unruly beard with no heaviness or shine — cause let’s face it, shine is for women — that’s ours!
